Make a diference in your community!

Our dedicated volunteers served more than 10,000 hours last year. They bring a wide range of skills and talents to our community. We are so grateful for each and every volunteer.

Thank you for your interest in volunteering at the PV Community Food Bank!

We are an all-volunteer non-profit organization relying on private funding.

There are 3 shifts a day in the family food box assist set up room…

9 am -12 pm, 12 pm -2pm, and 2pm -4pm

To serve on these shifts you must be able to lift 20-25 pounds and enjoy interacting with our neighbors who come to the food bank to pick up their food boxes.

The food bank now has the following opportunities to serve on a weekly basis in the set-up room:

Tuesday mornings 9 -12
Tuesday from 12-2
Tuesday afternoon 2-4

Wednesday mornings 9 -12

Thursday afternoons from 2-4

We ask people to attend an Orientation prior to volunteering at the food bank.

If you are interested in knowing more about volunteering on one of the above referenced shifts on a weekly basis, please fill out the information application and note in the message box that you are interested in volunteering on a shift.  I will notify you of the next Orientation.

If you are interested in learning about volunteer opportunities for large groups, please email operationspvcfb@gmail.com

The food bank cannot offer any volunteer hours for community service.

Young people need to be 16 years old to volunteer at the food bank.  And we prefer they volunteer with a parent.

Thank you!
